Teen of Impact challenges the next generation of changemakers to lead with purpose and create real change in their communities.
Over a nine-week competition, nominees and their teams take bold action for heart health by raising awareness, sharing lifesaving education and advocating for policies that protect lives.
The future of heart health starts with you.
That’s why Teen of Impact challenges teens to speak up, take charge, and inspire others to do the same. From sharing CPR education to promoting mental well-being, nominees use their voices to make a difference in their community.
With support from the American Heart Association, each nominee builds a custom campaign to maximize their reach and impact.
It all kicks off on National Wear Red Day®, the first Friday in February, sparking a nationwide movement to improve heart health and save lives.

The 2026 Teen of Impact campaign, a 9-week competition, launches in communities across the country on National Wear Red Day® on Friday, February 6th.
